Matthew 6:34

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (NIV)

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.-KJV

I find that I am a worrier.  I worry about many different things.  Mostly things I have no control over.  I have to repeatedly remind myself that I don’t need to worry.  I need to just hand my worry over to God.    Tomorrow will come and things will happen whether I spent today worrying about them or not, but today will still be gone and what will I have to show for it?  Let tomorrow worry for itself and let’s live for today enjoying the moments as they pass us by.

One of my little blessings who helps me remember to live for today and let tomorrow be dealt with tomorrow.  Here she is being such a big girl and brushing her teeth. . . in the bathtub. . . with safety goggles and her night gown on.

Tub safety is always good to practice 😉
I’m with you, I have to really focus on not worrying, I start with one thing and suddenly I’m worrying about what might happen ten years down the line. I love reading Romans and reminding myself that I must renew my mind daily.
