Buckley and Bogey, Cat Detectives, find their next big case with theBuckley and Bogey Cat Detective Agency to be their most complicated ever! It all starts when someone hides a mysterious package in their Mom’s antique store — in the middle of the night! Of course, the boys find it, and put it in a nice, safe place, until they can open it . . . and, find the rightful owner. Plus, everything happens just when a priceless, jeweled statue collection goes on display at the St. Gertrude Museum. Missing from that collection are two jewel covered cat statues that disappeared almost a hundred and fifty years ago.But soon Buckley and Bogey wonder how long those statues will stay missing. From a trip to theMuseum, and to an old church for the Blessing of the Animals; and from dinosaurs to diamonds, they end up dodging shady suspects the whole time. It sure helps to have their friends with them, especially when the bad guys make a beeline for boys. About the author: Cindy Vincent was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and has lived all around the US and Canada. My thoughts: I love my kitties. But I can also say that they do not act like little kitty detectives. What about you? Is Your Cat a Detective? Are they investigating things? Buckley and Bogey are some super cute black cats who were adopted into the same household. They have formed their own detective agency and like to help the local police solves cases. This time the case involves their mom who owns an antique store that was broken into. But nothing was stolen! In fact, the cats discover that something was actually left behind by the perpetrator. From there they start searching for the missing cat statues. They go to the museum. Some kitty friends take to climbing the dinosaur exhibits and create quite the scene while Buckley and Bogey get to go see the statues that have not gone missing as well as photos of the two missing cat statues. Will the cats find the two statues? Will they make it out alive? I do have to say that they find a false bottom in a closet, and a secret passage in an old church! Such excitement! Great read. My oldest daughter is 10 and is enjoying reading this book as well. Makes you wonder again is your cat a detective? Are you their cover?
