My Thoughts on A Wish For Home

What if you were once Amish?  And then you weren’t?  What if your family was wronged and shunned and you just couldn’t get over it?  That’s what life is like for Lauren.  When she travels back to the area of her childhood with her job she’s determined to make things right. 

So here we have this English woman who used to be Amish back to her home area.  She wants justice for her family.  She wants things made right and maybe secretly she wants to be accepted again.  Add to this her seeing her childhood nemesis and things start to get dicey. 

Adam is a widower with a little girl.  He will stop at nothing to save his grandfather’s farm.   Even if that means doing things he doesn’t want.  He’d rather stay away from Lauren for good but his little girl has different ideas.  

A major theme in this book is forgiveness.  But there is also some romance and intrigue as well as a bit of mystery and suspense so you’re going to love this book no matter what genre is your favorite.  It is not your typical Amish romance novel though so I hope you give it a go and see how you like it!
