Rockin Green Femme Rock Laundry Detergent Review

When I started using cloth pads I had no clue that anyone made a special detergent for them.  But that makes sense because I didn’t know anything about special detergents for cloth diapers either.  Then I heard about Rockin Green.

Rockin Green makes laundry detergents not only for specialty things like cloth diapers and mama pads, but also regular detergent for all your laundry needs.  They make a soft water, medium and hard water detergent as well as an additive for cloth diaper washing to get that ammonia smell out if you forget to wash for a few days.  Oh and we don’t want to forget their funk wash to keep the funky smells out of pails!

I was able to try the Femme Rock which is specifically made for mama cloth.  I was intriqued by this.  I mean I had washed them by hand with just cold water and then put them in with my cloth diapers before and washed them that way.  This was telling me it would work for just them!

So I tried it!  I handwashed with it first because I didn’t have many.  I washed and then hung them to dry on the towel rack.  And guess what?  They got clean.  Not just a little clean but spotless.  No stains, no signs of blood, you wouldn’t have known they were dirtied!  I later used it with my pads in the washing machine with the same results!

A bit about Rockin Green.  Rockin’ Green LLC was born out of necessity. With kids having sensitive skin and reacting to most all detergents they used(seems to remind me of some of my littles) they set ou to make their own!  They also had the challenge of getting clothes clean with hard water.  I can understand that as we have hard water here.
