Now you might ask why sandwiches and what are we doing with a sandwich kit in June. Here’s the answer! Sunday is Father’s Day so we’re honoring our Fathers by talking about their favorite sandwiches. My husband really likes just a plain ham and swiss sandwich. This to me is fairly boring. I mean he puts miracle whip, swiss cheese, and brown sugar ham on two slices of bread and he’s done. He’s not a huge veggie lover so he doesn’t add any lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. . . . nothing.

So I’m sharing my bread recipe that he likes! You can find it HERE. This is a millet oatmeal bread that a friend gave me the recipe for. It’s gluten free and can be made in a breadmachine or by hand and baked in the oven. We get better results with oven baking(nicer loaf, etc) but with 9 kids and the youngest just 2 weeks most days it’s the breadmachine for us! I’m so blessed to have a nice one that has a gluten free setting.
