My thoughts:  I am a history buff.  WWII history is another area besides Civil War that my husband reenacts and I am starting to get into.  This book seemed to be right up my alley for this.  If you like history or know anything about the Monument Men(or want to know something about them) read this book.  I don’t know a lot about the Italian front during the war but what I know and what the book discusses are the same.  I love that the author did research into the history and war before writing.  The book is well written and will suck you in from the beginning.  But a word of warning, make sure you have time blocked out to read the book before you begin.  You won’t want to put this book down!
