My thoughts: I love Tracie Peterson’s books and this one was definitely no exception. I loved it. Couldn’t put it down. There were twists and turns and characters that you can’t quite trust plus those that you can’t help trusting and cheering on! I fell in love with Marty, after all how can you not love a gal that can shoot and drive a stagecoach!? Love the history in the book as well as the time period. Cannot wait for the next book in the series! Will keeping secrets about her past keep Jake and Marty apart, or will they find a way for love to bloom amid their marriage in name only. And then of course comes the mystery surrounding their new maid!
