Character Badges Giveaway
As part of the Build Your Bundle Sale going on, I purchased two bundles. They both had a set of Character Badges in them. So, I was faced with a dilemna. What do I do with two sets? Answer! I give one away on my blog! Woohoo score for you!
Now you might be asking what Character Badges are. Character Badges are a great character building program available from Deborah and Co. You may know her as the Modest Mom from her blog as well! I think it’s an awesome little program that she and her husband developed for their children and then decided to share with the world!
Character Badges are recommended for ages 5-12. They also have a Little Character Badges set for ages 3-5 so that your littler ones have something to use as well. Any scripture references in the bundle are through the King James Version. This is the only version we use in our house so that is fine by us! The entire package comes through in a PDF file. You will receive three charts. These are the Obedience Chart, the Disobedience Chart, and the Consequence Chart. You also get a set of flash cards and badges to print off to use.
The bundle set which includes both the Little and Regular sets is available for purchase for $12.99. You can purchase them individually as well. The Character Badges is available for $9.99 while the Little Character Badges can be purchased for $5.99.
Character Badges aren’t about instant obedience from your children. It does however, show what your child’s behavior was over a certain time period as well as allowing for consistency. It will show you what you need to work on and you can even assign consequences to certain actions to help your children know what will happen when they do something. It will help you as well to make sure you are consistent in your approach to your child and their behaviors.
I know for me the biggest thing is consistency. I have nine children and I can’t always deal with them immediately. Having a set consequence for things will help them know what the consequence for their actions are. I also really like that they get rewards for their good behaviors and actions. I have set up a reward system for them with going so long without disobedience or consequences. They also get smaller rewards for hitting levels of obedience.
I’m looking forward to using and utilizing my Character Badges set and want to share one with you! Enter to win through the Rafflecopter below. The giveaway will end at midnight on August 2nd. I will email the winner. Once they have responded I will send them the PDF file containing their Character Badges set. Simple as that!

I am very much liking this idea – “Character Badges aren’t about instant obedience from your children.
