My thoughts:
I’ve so enjoyed reading about all the brothers in this family(yes I’ve read all the books in the series now) and couldn’t wait to get my hands on Her One and Only so I could finish off the family of siblings and know what happened to each. I was not disappointed!
Dru was a Marine previously but now she’s a bodyguard. She’s good at her job and doesn’t want to get involved in anyway with her client other than a client/bodyguard relationship. She’s learned the hard way that you can’t get close. You can’t care. But can she keep her guard up to keep him safe and keep her guard up to protect her heart?
Someone is stalking a big time football player and Dru is sent to protect him. He’s not sure she can do the job and he’s a womanizer added to that. Lots of fun times are to be had as these two get to know each other and eventually fall in love. But can Dru remain alert and protect him when she couldn’t protect her heart? Will their love be known only to be thrown away to death?
Great read. Definitely a fast read for me. It’s one of those you take to the bath with you and see if you can figure out who the stalker is before they do! I had a pretty good guess and was pleased to see myself correct in the end.
Because this is part of a series you also get to remeet some of our characters from the first three books which is always fun! And of course, it’s a good laugh when mr hotshot football player meets Dru’s three brothers. This is a book and a series you’re going to want to read!
