Wedding photographer Michelle Hadley has a passion for diversity and believes that love comes in all colors. So, she’s working hard to convince editors to feature her clients’ images on the covers of the mainstream bridal and wedding magazines.

My Thoughts on Love in Pictures:

I was pleasantly surprised by this book.  When I first read the description I thought it was going to be a cutesy romance book.  But there are actually a lot of hard topics covered in this book.  While it has those hard topics, it hasn’t become a heavy book and still manages to be light-hearted and have a good romance within it. 

Some of the topics within this book are how stuttering as a child affects both the child and the adult, bullying (and how to combat it), blind hatred, racism, and inter-racial relationships.  

Personally, I’m impressed by how well the author could take so many almost taboo topics and combine them in one book while still making a book that people would want to read!  Kudos to her!  

I enjoyed this book.  While I can’t say that it’s a die-hard favorite, I can say that I enjoyed this book and I would be interested in reading more by this author.  

Faith is incorporated throughout the whole book.  It’s an easy to read book that I can recommend.  The author did a wonderful job weaving this book together and the characters are very relatable and real-life feeling.
