My Thoughts on The Nutcracker’s Suite Audiobook

The Nutcracker’s Suite Audiobook is a wonderful reading of a fantastic Ever After Mystery by an all-time favorite author of mine. I should say a favorite author and a favorite narrator.  What could possibly be wrong with that? Nothing.  Nothing at all.  It’s perfection actually. 

This is part of the Ever After Mystery Series that takes classic fairy tales and retells them in more modern settings.  This book takes place in the 1920s with gangsters aplenty.  Oh and some head cracking instead of nuts.  

This is a murder mystery extraordinaire.  Reading it was amazing.  I couldn’t get enough and didn’t want to stop.  Listening brought it to an even higher plane because I DIDN’T have to stop reading to do other things.  I could read (or rather listen) while doing dishes and putting children to bed.  All the while I knew that while this is a murder mystery it was a clean and Christian one so nothing questionable for little ears. 

Grab a copy of the audiobook or the actual book now.  You will regret not reading or listening to this one.  Or better yet, grab a copy of each.  And maybe a few copies to gift to others this Christmas.
