My Thoughts on Targeted in the Desert

What a fun book!  This is part of a series.  To understand this book fully you’re going to want to read the whole series.  Trust me on this one.  Plus, it’s a really good series so I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to read them all instead of just one book.

We spent some time getting to know Felicia in the book prior to this one, Christmas Crime Cover-Up, as she is the best friend and coworker of Nora Duke.  The whole series follows the Duke family.  This book is about Felicia who isn’t a Duke because it also centers on one Duke boy, Jude, who happens to be Nora’s brother.

Okay, that gets some of the stuff out of the way.

Add in a sister that Felicia never knew about that is suddenly in Felicia’s care and someone out to kill both of them, and it starts to get really interesting!  You’re going to love this book!  But also I really loved the big dog too.  I’m a fan of big dogs.

I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received through Celebrate Lit. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC regulations.

More from Dana

At last!

We’ve arrived at the final book in the Desert Justice series!

It seems like just yesterday I was finishing book one, about cousin Beckett Duke who was falsely imprisoned. Then we met cowboy Levi and his twin Willow, dog lover Austin, donkey rescuer Nora and FINALLY sheriff Jude Duke gets his story!

I am a fan of a hero with some miles under his belt, aren’t you?

Could it be because I’ve got more than a few under mine?

Ending this series is bittersweet because I am thrilled that the Dukes all received their happy endings, but I’ll miss writing about their adventures in Death Valley.

Hope you’ll come along to my next series. (It could be there are bloodhounds in our fictional future!)

God bless!
