My Thoughts on Manhunt-Only the Strong Survive

Manhunt-Only the Strong Survive is an interesting futuristic end-times novel. It’s also the start of a trilogy so know more is coming!  

Okay, if you don’t like the Bible or reading scriptures, don’t read this book.  It contains several scriptures.  The book does add some poetic license if you will in that it adds things to the scriptures to make it into a full story and flesh everything out.  Now, having said that I don’t think the author made anything in such a way that it goes against what the Bible says though.  I felt it followed along the same lines and vein. 

This is not some cute fiction novel.  This is an intense book.  I don’t read horror novels, but I think this might qualify as a Christian horror novel.  But then again, this is the end times we’re talking about.  And I do believe they will be worse than any horror movie ever created.  

Who can read this novel? 

I would say adults only.  There are some tribulation novels written for teens and young adults and I think this one needs to stay an adult novel.  It is a wonderful novel but I do want brains fully developed before reading this one.  I also think it would be a great discussion piece for a book study or to discuss with a college-level student.  So much in this that you could dissect and evaluate.

Again, this is a 3 book series and I cannot wait to get into the other two books!  They’re not out yet or I’d be reading them instead of typing this.
