My Thoughts on Freedom in Friday Harbor

Freedom in Friday Harbor is a sweet romance novel to add to your collection. Oh I mean your to-be-read stack.  The setting is a real town which I’ve never been to but it sounds like a fun and sweet place to visit.  It sounds like the perfect place to visit and curl up with a good book. 

Neither of our main characters are from or living in Freedom Harbor.  One takes a vacation while the other comes to visit his ailing father.  

There are some hard topics within the book that the author talks about.  But it’s done in a nice way that makes them not off-putting.  Alzheimer’s is one of those topics.  My great-grandmother passed with this particular one so it’s something I’m close to.  Other things like divorce and panic attacks are within the pages. 

This is really a nice sweet romance though despite the tough topics.  I hope you’ll grab a copy to read today.
