30 Day Fitness Challenge -Day 13
Active Challenge: Accumulate at least 15 minutes of extra walking today. I can say I did this, but it wasn’t walking it was running. I ran 2 miles today instead of my normal 1.5 miles. I also made sure to speed up and try to max myself at least 3 times during the run.
Exercise Challenge: Do a steady light to medium cardio workout for 20 minutes or more. I did some dancing with the kids. It’s pretty easy. I like to dance and I don’t get to very often anymore so I dance with the kids. Normally I do this when I’m trying to get one of the babies to bed. Today it was Fionna. So I used her as my partner and we waltzed, cha cha’d, and did some Eastern swing until she fell asleep.
Flexibility Challenge-stretching: I did stetches twice today, once before working out and once after.
Nutrition Challenge: examine your eating patterns. Log what you eat, what your energy levels were, how full you felt, etc. I didn’t really do this today. I can tell you what I ate, but I did not pay attention to anything else. For breakfast we had yogurt with fruit, snack was a piece of salt water taffy, lunch was leftover steaks with salad, and supper was popcorn.
Mind/Body Challenge: to have 3 minutes of total relaxation. Nope did not even try to make this happen. With 8 sick kids there was no way this was going to come about!
