My Thoughts on Rocky Mountain Revenge

What a fun book!  It starts out with Grace getting gas at a sketchy spot when her sister facetimes her.  Chloe worked late and hates going into a dark house by herself.  Only Grace ends up seeing someone attacking her sister.  By the time she gets to the house, after calling 911, her sister is being pushed off a balcony and she sees the guys face.

Whew. That’s a lot to happen in the first chapter!

But then it gets better when Grace’s old flame is the sheriff who shows up on the scene.  Evan vows to keep her safe since the attacker told her she was next.  Can Grace figure out who did this and why without getting herself killed?  She’s not very good at taking orders.

When Grace also discovers that vet records have been falsified, combined with the missing drugs, well, let’s just say she knows something major is going on!

What a fun book!  It moves fast and furious and there are car chases and people being attacked.  Plus a good guy who’s not so good and a bad guy with a grudge.  It’s so good!  I loved it.  It read really fast and I didn’t want to have to take breaks.  Grace is a strong character but she left town because she hated the gossip of small-town life. But now that she’s back she’s seeing it more as caring and less as gossip.
