My Thoughts on Matters of the Heart

I love a good historical fiction novel. And who doesn’t love a heroine with flaming red hair and gorgeous emerald eyes? Just me? I’m always a sucker for an Irish lass. Probably because my grandma gifted me with that connection through her family line.

The main characters definitely grab you in and make you keep reading. This is book three in the series though so you’re really going to need to read books one and two to understand everything that’s going on. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great book and you totally can read it on its own, but if you want the full picture you need to read the books that come prior first.

This book showcases immigrants from other countries and the struggles they face within our country. I love it! You’re going to want to read this series and the characters are going to steal your heart. While reading I could not wait to come back and read more and was sad when it ended. I can only hope that there is going to be more coming in this series.
