Dawn Shipman knew she wanted to be a writer since Mrs Juell’s 10th-grade Creative Writing class. Since then, she’s written stories, poetry, plays, puzzles, quizzes, and a mass of magazine articles, including interviews, how-tos, and personal experience stories. She believes freelance writing is the ideal occupation for those who are nosy by nature and like asking personal questions.

She is the author of a YA Fantasy series–The Lost Stones of Argonia–-with Elk Lake Publishing in Massachusetts.

My Thoughts on Battle for the Crown

Battle for the Crown is book three in a series you’re not going to want to miss. Settle in and get ready to go for a wild ride!  As always I highly recommend you read this series in order.  I feel you get the most from a series by doing just that.  Plus of course, you want to read more books not less!

Enter a world that isn’t our own and follow the journey of a Princess.  Princess Lyric to be exact.  Add in magical stones, oh and of course evil that must be risen above.  

The book read quickly.  The characters were wonderful.  I fell in love with them and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. If you like a bit of suspense and young adult fiction you’re going to love this book and this series.
