My Thoughts on Never Hire a Hero

Never Hire a Hero is a wonderful marriage of convenience/historical fiction novel that you’re going to love reading!  This is such a sweet story.  I fully enjoyed it.  I was sucked in and didn’t want to even attempt to break away. 

Lady Thea is a widow with three children.  A cousin of her husband was left as guardian to her children.  He’s not someone she enjoys being around and makes life unbearable. A tutor is hired for the children and that’s when she sees an escape.  If she remarries then there will no longer be a need for a guardian.

It might be unconventional but she proposes a marriage of convenience to the tutor who happens to have been a bodyguard prior.  Could this possibly work out?  What could go wrong?

I greatly enjoyed reading this book.  The characters were great.  It read quickly.  I love Regency-era novels and this author does an amazing job of them. If you’re looking for a Regency novel, then look no further!
