Making Babies DVD and Book Series Review

My husband about had a heart attack when these products came to our house(it was before we knew we were pregnant).  I love this book though.  It has so many great recipes that are healthy and not just for when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding either.

Making Babies is written by Shoshanna Easling and can be found at the Bulk Herb Store.  Currently it is $110 for the book and dvd series.  Make sure to browse the store while you’re there and check out the other great products they have.

I just love this baby.  So cute!

Awesome book, highly recommend!

One of the recipes that my kids adore(I’ve tweaked it a bit and will add it sometime soon) is the Chewy Chocolate Bars.  Super easy and so good for you instead of those processed granola bars.  It uses almond butter, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, and almond flour.  How simple!  Oh and no baking required, just refrigerate and cut into bars!

If you can’t tell, I like chocolate, so another favorite of ours is the chocolate drops.  These again require no baking!  Just use coconut oil, honey, cocoa powder, pecans, and coconut flakes.  Great to share for the holidays!
It also contains recipes that are helpful for everyone such as for toothpaste and deodorant.  I don’t make these on my own, but maybe someday I’ll give them a try. I’ve got the recipes now!   Another recipe I want to try is the cashew ranch dressing.  We love ranch dressing around here, but with milk allergies sometimes it’s a challenge to make the recipe just right.  This one sounds worth trying.
Do you like cracker jacks?  Then you should get this book so you can make your own!  That’s right it includes a recipe for cracker jacks!
It’s a big book with tons of great stuff in it.  Make sure to check it out!
