My Thoughts on The Rescue:

So good.  I loved this one.  It reads quickly and the characters are very compelling.  I had to know what would happen next and how it would end up.  Definitely one of those books that I can’t put down and will stay up way too late to read.  Which might have happened.  But I’m not sorry, just in need of about a pot of coffee and bribery to get my children to take naps today.

The author has a great writing style that just captures you and weaves the story into your being so you’re a part of it and invested in the outcome.  I’m not sure how they do it but it’s masterful and makes me want to binge read all of her books.  Also looking forward to the books to come in this series.

I felt such compassion for the main character.  Who wants to be forced to marry an old guy who’s a creep?  Not me!  Loved the mystery and suspense plus the romance.  Always into a good Christian romance book.

Highly recommend this read and can’t wait to hear what everyone else thinks of it!
