My Thoughts on The Telegraph Proposal:

This is such a sweet book.  Definitely one I would classify as a Christian romance novel.  It’s not a historical novel in that there aren’t any major historic events going on but it is set back in time a bit.

I am always intrigued by books that are written by more than one author.  How do they collaborate?  Does one write the dialogue from one person while the other does the other?  Who comes up with the ideas?  Do they write together or separate?  All the questions run through my head and of course, I know they’re not getting answered, but that doesn’t stop me from asking them!

Matchmaking!

I love the concept of matchmaking.  It’s such a fun and old fashioned approach.  These two friends have long given up on romance.  One pines for the other in fact.  But instead, they both turn to a matchmaking service.  Only the matchmaking service has decided they have a perfect match waiting for them!  Each other!

Hilarious!

I really enjoyed watching this journey between the two coming to terms with who they are and how they can love the other.  

Hale definitely does not want to be matched with Yancey.  He finds her annoying and has a nice long list of her wrongs.  Yancey, on the other hand, has been smitten with Hale for over ten years!  Can she convince him that she’s not the annoying spoiled girl he thinks she is?  Watch as she gets to run his mayoral campaign to prove herself.
