My Thoughts on God Is Coming

We started reading books and doing an Advent calendar a few years ago. It was new to me and I wasn’t sure that I knew what I was doing. Now, I like having new books to go through the Advent season so we aren’t doing the same one year after year.

This year we’re using God Is Coming and it’s such a cute story. I was in love with it as soon as it arrived because the book is beautiful. It’s a hardcover book and is of great quality. Even my kids reading it before Advent didn’t seem to harm it one bit.

We’re looking forward to reading it as a family starting soon! I hope you get the chance to grab a copy before Advent starts too.

About the Author of God Is Coming

Maggie Philpot wrote her first children’s story when she was in middle school (a story about an egg named Eggbert) and she has been dreaming up stories ever since. She lives in Fort Worth with her spectacular husband (whom she calls Husband), her two precocious children, and a rather ridiculous dog, Tucker. She is passionate about anything and anyone who attempts to make beauty, order, and meaning in this crazy world. The simple act of writing is one way to do just that.
