My Thoughts on Explosive Christmas Showdown

Woah!  What a fun and intense suspense novel.  It read very quickly for me.  In fact, within two hours I’d read the book from start to finish and really wanted another one to read.  I’ve read this author before and knew that she was going to deliver a wonderful book.  I love the K9 book series and this one involves a bomb-sniffing dog.  Just so you know, I didn’t tell my kids that I had gotten this book to review.  You see, my teens love the suspense K9 books just as much as I do and they would have grabbed it and read it first!

This is the perfect time to read this one!  It’s coming up on Christmas and this book centers around Christmas.  Jingle Bells runs rampant (if you know you know) and not everyone loves the holiday. 

Can Olly and Zac find out who is behind the bombings and killings?  Will they be able to stop the person before they themselves are killed?  I met Olive in another book in this series that featured her sister.  When I saw that this one tied in I got even more excited to read this one!  

Olive and Zac were once fiancees.  What happened to break them apart?  They both have secrets they’re hiding.  Now Olive has someone else to worry about in Grace, her foster child she hopes to adopt. 

This is a wonderful novel and I can’t recommend that you read it enough.  You don’t have to read any other books before this one as though it does contain characters we were introduced to in another novel, it is a stand-alone novel all on its own too.
