My Thoughts on the Elite Guardians Collection 

Driving Force

Lynette Eason is one of my favorite suspense authors and I could not wait to dive into this one!  Add in a service-type dog and she had me hooked.  We rescue German Shepherds and have gotten one recently who was a PTSD service dog so this was a great one to read now!

I always find it fascinating when authors work together to create a novel.  It also leaves me with questions about how they work together to create the novels.  I loved this one!

You’ve got a soldier who is confined to a wheelchair due to someone releasing agents that cause others to die.  Can they find out who is releasing what and why?  Can they stop them?  But most importantly, can Christina as a bodyguard and former sniper protect them all?  And honestly, the dog is the cutest and I fell in love with him.

Impending Strike 

Welcome to book two and one of my favorite suspense authors bringing a new author to my reading pleasure.  Actually, this is one author that I have also read before.  She’s also a great author on her own and I have loved reading her books before as well. 

So of course I was ready to read this one!  And it did not disappoint!

Charlie gets hurt.  He’s an Elite Guardian but he’s also in love with a fellow Guardian.  What happens when he loses his memory and the past four years?  Can Lizzie keep him and her daughter plus herself safe while also helping him get his memories back and protect her heart? 

So much going on in this story.  I highly recommend you get a copy of this book but not just this book, the whole series.  You’re going to want to block out a bunch of time for reading but also for trying to figure out the mystery and suspense before the author makes it plain.

Defending Honor

Oh my!  After reading books one and two I knew I had to get to reading this one!  I mean, they’re addictive and the suspense is so good that you’re just caught up in the book for hours and don’t realize the time that has passed. 

Another new to me author with a favorite of mine.  And that leads to another new author to follow as well and try to find books of hers to add to my must-read list.  

Laila was a Mossad agent.  I’ve read about Mossad agents before and loved getting to know her.  And then when she must pretend to be married to help protect the heir to a company who has lost other family members.  I could not put it down! 

Laila doesn’t want to get close to anyone because she can’t trust anyone.  But what happens when she’s working closely with someone and having to convince everyone else that she’s in love!?
