My Thoughts on Blessings in the Bargain

I love this series!  And this author has become a favorite.  When I picked up this book I knew I was going to love it. After all, it’s in a series that I have loved every single book in.  What I found was that I loved it more than I could have imagined!

One, it’s got some Gilligan’s Island vibes going on and even references that show a few times.  I loved watching that show growing up.  Yes, I’m too young for when it aired, but like Courtney maybe I’m just an old soul.  I feel like Courtney and I would be best buddies.  I’m an introvert and I suffer from depression and anxiety(mostly postpartum) so I totally understand where she’s coming from here!

Okay, another thing I loved about the book is that the main two characters have a significant age difference.  Is it okay to be romantically attracted to someone quite a bit older or younger than you?  I say yes.  But then again, my husband is ten years older than me!  Gasp.  Yes, yes it’s true. 

So get ready for an ocean adventure and have fun with this book!  I know I did!
