My Thoughts on Detecting Secrets

I loved this high-suspense tale!  It took you on quite the ride trying to figure out who the bad guys were and where the girls were or if they were even still alive or safe!  I did not want to stop reading it.  Days, when I’m reading a good suspense novel like this one, are the days that I wish I had a few uninterrupted hours to read the book from cover to cover.  I would devour them!

This is an author I have had the pleasure of reading before and I have also had the pleasure of reading the other books in this series.  I’m going to tell you right now you need to read the whole series.  While the books do contain some of the same characters they can also be read as stand-alone novels or in whatever order you want to read them.  

The way the characters are thrown together and then find out secrets that were hidden really has you biting your nails.  I have to confess that I did have a hard time reading certain parts of the novel as I recently went through a miscarriage at 12 weeks and you’re going to have some pregnant teens and hard decisions where babies are concerned in this book.  I think it’s no secret that I’m team I’ll take all the babies that other people don’t want.  Just bring them right on over!
