My Thoughts on On the Golden Cliffs

I have to say that I really enjoy Tricia Goyer as an author.  She writes books that are relatable and draws you in.  You feel like you are a part of the book.  

Something fun about this new series by Tricia Goyer is that its Amish fiction but it’s not typical Amish fiction.  In this series, you have an ex-Amish with someone who was never Amish (book number one).  And now for book number two you have a social media influencer and an Amish novel writer!  

In this book, we focus on Lyla whose career as an influencer pretty much got cancelled with one post.  She thinks she books a spa retreat but instead, she’s staying at an Amish home and it is very much out of her comfort zone.  

Reuben is an author.  But he’s Amish.  And if the wrong people find out it could mean bad news for him.  When his publisher wants a new book and he doesn’t feel inspired he’s not sure what to do.  Add Lyla to his life and it’s anything but dull.
