My Thoughts on Mountain Storm Survival

Mountain Storm Survival is a fun and fast-paced suspense novel that will keep you guessing and reading. You won’t want to miss a word!  I thoroughly enjoyed this suspense tale.  It’s not just a suspense but rather a second chances book as well.  How two people with a flawed past and who have made hard mistakes can find forgiveness and healing and maybe even more than that. 

I love that the ranch in question exists to help kids from troubled pasts.  It speaks to me.  Definitely something I could see myself supporting or helping with.  The kids definitely would pull at your heartstrings while also making you slightly want to pull out your hair!

Our two main characters have a past.  Kate is the reason that Rand has physical limitations.  Or at least they both kind of see it that way.  I don’t.  I see it as her being used by other people who were mean and she has to bear part of the punishment.  One thing I like is that she stepped up and admitted her part in it.  But it did take her a while to come around while in prison.  Her story is unique and I liked how she was willing to share. 

Rand has his own story to tell as well.  He’s walked a hard road and has worked to get to a place that most thought he’d never see again.  He’s very strong.  But he also has a lot of resentment and bitterness that he needs to overcome. 

You’ll love this story!  It read quickly and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
