My Thoughts on A  Convenient Heart

A Convenient Heart is a sweet historical fiction romance novel with a smidge of drama and suspense thrown in for good measure!  It’s the perfect fall rainy day read.  That’s when I was able to read it—cuddled up under a blanket with a mug of warm tea.  Just amazingly perfect.

I loved Jack! He’s amazing.  He and spinster school teacher Merritt correspond in a type of mail-order bride scenario.  And then he comes to her and the book gets really interesting fast!  It moves quickly.  The characters are wonderful.  This author does historical fiction romance well.  It’s not overly mushy.  Definitely stays within the realms of a good Christian romance novel.  And it will keep you reading and hooked on the story.

This is also part of a series so make sure you check out the rest of the series as well.  As always, I advocate for reading all books in a series in order.  So take that as you will and read on!
