My Thoughts on The Hunted Heir
Ready for a great novel? This is a fun legal thriller. You’ve got suspense. You’ve got romance. And you’ve got a great novel that will keep you reading until the very end. I particularly loved the quick thinking of our main character. A woman who doesn’t want to get close to anyone and yet here she is pretending to be a fiance of someone!
Is there a requirement that to be a lawyer or attorney you have to be a smidge arrogant? I think there is. Don’t get me wrong. I know some amazing and wonderful people who are lawyers but also they do have that arrogance in the courtroom and maybe it’s what makes them good at their job.
Nona is a private investigator. Her pastor was informed of an inheritance coming to him. And so of course Nona has to go look into that. Doing so brings her up against danger and suspense. It also brings her into the arms (literally) of attorney DeMarcus.
This book read quickly. The characters were amazing. I really really enjoyed reading it. Good things are coming from this author, I just know it. For a debut, she’s got a showstopper so I’m following for what comes next.
There are parts where you’re laughing. Parts where you feel like crying. And yet other parts where you’ll be biting your nails! This is definitely a must-read! In fact, I just might read it again.
