My Thoughts on The Resurrection Project
The Resurrection Project is an interesting futuristic novel with some fun medical things thrown in that I found quite interesting. It is part of a series but you’re in luck because it’s the first book! Here’s some fun things. This is a medical-type novel but not heavy on it. You definitely get some medical language but it’s the future so they can make it whatever they want! It’s also a great faith-based novel because there is no limit to what faith can do! And then it’s full of science and advancements. Oh and wisdom and courage and so much more!
I found this a fascinating novel. It read quickly. The characters reached out and would not let me go. It’s weird to think that in the future day and age, a child would die. With all the medical advancements sure to come it hurts my heart to think of children still dying.
This novel is unique in that it is told from three different perspectives. You have Ellen who is a medical student working with the Resurrection Project. And then you have a mother, Mamie, who is just praying desperately for a miracle. And lastly, you have a sweet little six-year-old.
I love that faith is at the forefront of this novel. It is unashamedly on every page. The future, I hope, is just as full of faith as this novel shows us. Now, I don’t want to tell much of the story or you won’t want to read it. And you need to read this one! I’m looking forward to the second book!
