My Thoughts on Grandma Ruth Doesn’t Go To Funerals
Okay. So this is a mystery. But there’s also romance. And it’s contemporary fiction. But, the best part, is the humor! I don’t know if the author purposefully wrote this to be funny or not, but I spent a lot of time laughing at the characters. That is when I could find my book to read it. You see, I had it on the shelf by my sitting chair where I could supervise the house from one location. And often I would go to grab my book but it wouldn’t be on my shelf. It seems I had a book thief. A mystery about a mystery novel. Who knew that was a thing?
Don’t worry, I quickly solved my mystery so I could get back to the mystery in this novel. It was my oldest daughter stealing my book because she’d started reading it when she was sitting there with a napping little sibling. Thief! There’s a thief among us! Don’t worry. She finished the book too.
This was such a fun novel.
They felt like family. And I just loved the good down-home goodness.
Grandma Ruth is precious ruling everyone and everything from her bed. And then you have her minions. Umm. . . I mean friends and family. Who go out among the community to find answers for her.
This novel read so quickly. I really did not want to put it down. I found it hilarious that a central theme was funerals and the funeral home. But really family and values is also a central theme. You’re going to love this one! Grab your copy today!
