My Thoughts on An Arrival of Hope

I love a good historical fiction novel.  They carry you away to a time gone by and fully activate the imagination.  This was a fun one!  Rosalind gives up her dream of love and a storybook romance.  Instead, she’s going to care for her aging aunt.  But when her aunt goes to Nebraska, so does Rosalind.  

Zane is a widowed farmer.  He’s sworn off love and romance.  He’s already lost one wife; why try for two?

But then this feisty redheaded woman shows up, and maybe he’s tempted to give love a try again.  

Enter some secrets and some danger to spice the story up.  It’s a great romance with a smidge of suspense as well.  You’re not going to be able to put this one down!  

This was just the perfect novel to read with a cup of coffee as it thundered and snowed out my window.  It wasn’t scary enough to have me checking all the window locks, but it had enough suspense to keep it moving.  The characters are great, and the faith is very evident.  

An Arrival of Hope is the third book in the series.  You really should read them in order.
