My Thoughts on The Hidden Key of Brooke Sumner
The Hidden Key of Brooke Sumner is book three in a series, and yes, you absolutely must read this series in order. I have been looking forward to this book since I finished book two. And guys, I read that one right as it released, just like this one, and it was too long. Way too long. You’re lucky and can read all three books together right now! No waiting for them to release. Go. Now.
Hmm, okay. So you want to know what this one is about?
As I said, this is book three of the series. The series brings together unlikely women and helps them to fulfil tasks from an unknown benefactor, if you will. Well, they have a name to call him, Casper, but they have never seen him and know nothing about him. All they know is what they’re tasked to find and the mystery surrounding it.
The books read fast and furious.
The characters are amazing and out of this world. Plus, the plot is great. You’re going to be guessing and trying to figure it all out before it’s revealed.
Each book follows one of the women on the team. This book focuses on Brooke. She grew up in foster care and doesn’t trust anyone. Like anyone at all. Because at one point she did trust, and her trust was broken in the worst way.
When a man named Storm shows back up in her life and is going to help the team, she decides she has to stay with the team because she doesn’t trust him to follow the rules and be an asset to the team.
Oh, and did I mention there is some dual timeline going on, too? You’ll love it!
The cast of characters is varied and unique. From Brooke to Gertie, the retired FBI, you’ll love them all. But start reading fast to see why Brooke is in danger and how she’ll escape!
