My Thoughts on Loving Sarah
Loving Sarah is a wonderful novel. No suspense, just lots of twists and turns that you may see coming, but you still have to read!
How well do you remember things? Can you read a chapter and know all the characters you’re introduced to for the entire rest of the book without seeing some of them again for a while? This book is going to test that!
Sarah is our main character. She’s sweet, and she owns/runs a sweets shop. I did a stint in a bakery in high school and can say that I shared the sentiment of not really eating sweets. When you’re around them and making them all the time, it takes the joy out of eating them and really just makes you sick of them.
Besides her shop, she is engaged and planning a wedding to William. Her life seems wonderful! And then her friend, who runs the Sky Lift, gets hurt. He breaks his leg and asks Sarah to let her son know.
Robert comes down to take care of his father and the business. He’s rude and overbearing at first, but then settles down. Both he and Sarah immediately feel this pull to each other. Like they’ve seen each other before, known each other before.
And from there, this story barrels forward!
I don’t want to give away too much, but let’s say there are some twists and turns, and both of their fathers get involved in their relationship!
Sarah has some decisions to make and must learn to listen to her heart but also her head. This book read super quickly and I highly recommend it.
