Gina Holder is a Christian award-winning author of romantic suspense and cozy mysteries filled with faith, intrigue, danger, romance, and epic twists you’ll never see coming.
She’s had an infatuation with books for as long as she can remember. She loves sharing uplifting messages from God’s Word and introducing readers to new and new-to-them authors on her blog. My Thoughts on The Escape Game
The Escape Game is the second book in The Game Masters series. It’s a suspenseful book that you’re going to love diving into! This is a series, so of course, you need to read book one before you read book two. It should be a rule, in my opinion. They shouldn’t let you buy a second book unless you’ve bought the first!
Demi finds her father’s journal. She’s been waiting 20 years or more for him to come back. Is he dead? Is he captured somewhere? She still doesn’t know where he is, but she’s determined to figure it out.
Liam is also searching for answers about his missing sister. He’s also an escape room enthusiast, which is going to come in handy as he and Demi team up to get answers.
Soon, they’re players inside an escape game.
Will they make it out alive?
I love a good puzzle, a good mystery to solve, and this book is a great one! You’ll find yourself trying to figure out what’s going to happen before it’s revealed. And there are some twists and turns along the way.
I’ve never been in an escape room before, but I really enjoyed this novel. You’ll get some romance between Demi and Liam, but it’s more of a thriller. This is a fast-paced read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would read again! I’m sure there are some fun clues that I probably missed the first read through.
