About the Book The Last Noel

The Last Noel is a riveting Christmas novella collection with suspense, intrigue, and second-chance romance.

“Do You See What I See?” by Sarah Hamaker

Oakleigh Wright’s estranged foster sister reappears late one night, desperate to hand off her children. Oakleigh agrees to bring them to their aunt out of state, but her travels are intercepted by a ruthless gang. She turns to her ex, Joseph, for help. Will they rekindle their love as they uncover what the gang seeks?

“Do You Hear What I Hear?” by Jayna Breigh

Trial Lawyer Elise Sinclair resigns herself to her lonely Christmas reviewing legal documents—until her renegade fiancé, Jack, reappears. He is jobless, broken, and seeking forgiveness. Can two battered hearts overcome secrets and restore their love?

“Do You Know What I Know?” by Kimberley Woodhouse

When Faith Thibodeaux returns to her Cajun-style food truck in Alaska after an accident, the last thing she expects is to find out that her ex-boyfriend is the executive chef of a new restaurant. When they return to their hometown over the holidays to fundraise, will the “friendly” cooking competition restore their love or rip them apart forever?

My Thoughts on The Last Noel

One book, three novellas, and loads of suspense!  Just what the doctor ordered.  Or maybe not.  She probably would have told me to sleep and not read while I was up with sick kids.  Three parts to a whole, and each one of them is amazing, full of suspense, great characters, faith, and second chances at love.

These are all Christmas stories, but with a twist in that they are suspense and not fully focused on Christmas.  Think romantic suspense, not thriller or full-on suspense.

Starting with Oakleigh and her former fiancé taking care of kids (belonging to her former foster sister) who need to be safely transported to their aunts, with danger following at every turn.  Followed by missing a cruise for a case and then her former love of her life comes back into her life!  And then there is a food truck and a famous chef. Will their competition be friendly or turn into too much of a competition?

The whole book was wonderful, and each story was just long enough to give me a good read while rocking a little to sleep while he had an ear infection.  One per night, and it was perfect.  Nothing scary, perfect for before bed.
