Butterfly Bakery Review- Gluten Free Homemade Goodness
I recently received in the mail a very yummy package. It contained a container of banana nut mini muffins and chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to receive these in the mail? And were they good. Yum yum yum. Oh yes they were good.
Oh and to make it even better wait until you see the packages. My kids loved the butterflies!

These muffins and cookies were very good. After their trip to get here you might think they’d be dried out but they maintained their moisture well. The chocolate chip cookies did get a bit beat up from the trip and about half of them were no longer actual cookies, but that did not affect the taste at all. My kids were all fighting over who was going to get what pieces. Needless to say the whole thing was gone in one night.
A bit about Butterfly Bakery. Butterfly Bakery was founded in 1998 by Brenda Isaac. Her dream was to create sugar free treats that her mother could enjoy. The business took off and she has since started creating gluten free and no sugar added to that list of yummy treats she bakes. The gluten free products use whole grain teff flour. That’s right- one flour and they’re so good! I have used teff in my baking before but never as the lone flour. I may have to look into this!
