My Thoughts on Deadly Commitment:
This book was great. While it has suspense and really does keep you wondering, it also reads slower than your typical suspense novel. Oh and there’s a wonderful dog that I fell in love with. Plus there’s some romance going on.
Side note. I want a book about the chef and her story because I know she’s got one and I want to hear it!
Okay, back to the book.
Danni gives us glimpses of her childhood and what it’s like to be the daughter of an addict. She’s passionate about keeping drugs off the streets and out of the hands of people. When one of her servers dies of an apparent overdose that’s hitting too close to home. But can it hit closer?
When she begins to question what her fiance does with his time she doesn’t want to believe that it could be something really really bad, but the evidence is pointing that way. She’s out to prove his innocence and hopefully not get hurt in the process.
Can Danni prove him innocent or is he really and truly guilty? And if he’s guilty heaven help him because she’s not going to stand for that!
Great read! I recommend this book but be prepared for some suspense and for it not to read in an hour. Also, prepare to fall in love with the characters and be ready to read the next book. . . now!
