My Thoughts on Echoes of Darkness
Echoes of Darkness is a wonderful suspense novel that you’re not going to want to read on a dark and stormy night when you’re alone. Ahem. I might have done that. While my husband was gone and I was home alone with all the kids. I might also have had to get up and check the doors and pull all the curtains. But I could not put the book down! It’s amazingly written and will definitely make you feel like you are on the pages of the book.
Oaklynn is our heroine. She’s a constable in Canada. But man, she has a past. She’s got baggage she needs to deal with and work through, but right now she’s hunting a serial killer. A serial killer, surprisingly like her serial killer father. Which, of course, no one knows about. And she’s not about to start sharing that information.
Caleb is on a special task force assigned to this case. And he’s not sure about working with Oaklynn. He has his own secrets, too. Both of them need to share their secrets to help solve this case, but neither wants to face them.
Oh, and did I mention there is a cult too?
This book is amazing and you will not be able to put it down.
