What Brings Us Joy is a sweet historical fiction novel that is sure to captivate you and bring you new friends. Delia is determined to help her family. They’re impoverished. They lost their farm and moved to Texas. She has a plan!
Her plan is to win the county quilt contest and use that money to help her start a quilt shop. Love is not on her mind or in her plans. But what if it sneaks up on her?
Clarence has a past. He was part of a gang and testified to get his other members thrown in jail. When they escape jail and are bent on revenge against him, he starts questioning his choices and wondering how he can protect everyone he loves.
Can Clarence keep Delia safe? Can Delia open her dressmaker’s shop and help her family? But most importantly, can two imperfect people find a perfect meant to be love?
