My Thoughts on His Boss’s Little Sister

His Boss’s Little Sister is both a fun historical fiction novel and a fairytale retelling. It’s fun and will definitely keep you reading.  This is an author that I adore, so I knew when I saw her name on the title that it was going to be amazing.  It did not disappoint. 

As always, this is part of a series, and I do always encourage you to read the entire series in order.  Don’t skip around, don’t pass go, just read all the books!

This novel is the fairytale retelling of Hansel and Gretel, but also historical fiction.  

Have you ever heard of the Oleo wars of Wisconsin?  I had never heard of it, so this was fun, and I definitely did some googling on that topic.  Crazy!  Love that this was in the book.  

It’s also a second-chance romance novel.  It’s so sweet, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one.  You’re going to love it too.  Samantha is such a sweet and fun character.  She’s adventurous!  Kyle wants nothing more than to keep her safe and maybe get a second chance at love.
