My Thoughts on Unending Hope

Unending Hope is book two in a wonderful historical fiction series taking place during World War II that you’re not going to want to miss! While you can read this as a standalone novel, you’re not going to want to. You should definitely read Abounding Hope first before this one. It’s not necessary, but it will give you two books instead of one to read, and you will not regret it.

This novel is set in Norway, which is a unique setting. You’ll love the culture that comes through and the bits and pieces of history to help you learn what the war was like for people of this country. No one was left untouched by the war.

Our main characters are Red Cross workers. One a Doctor and one a nurse. These two have had a failed relationship before, but are still friends.

Will they evolve their relationship under the fierceness of war?

They’re trapped in Norway after attending a friend’s wedding. They’re determined to help those who need their medical attention, but they also need to stay ahead of the Germans so their paths don’t cross.

I love historical fiction. WWII particularly holds my heart. I have read the first book in the series and definitely look forward to this one being released. The characters are wonderful. The danger is real. And faith is a central component of the novel. Not only will you learn history and swoon over a romance, but you’ll be challenged a smidge in your faith as well. This makes a marvellous read and one I’ll keep on my shelf.
