My Thoughts on Eyewitness Sketch

Eyewitness Sketch is a wonderful historical fiction novel that I loved reading. Really, everything that I’ve read by her is excellent!  She does a great job bringing parts of history to life and helping you learn something while you’re entertained. 

Reading to me is my escape.  I get into the characters, and the plot and life just seems to melt away, and my stress levels go down.  It’s amazing.  If you’re not a big reader, you should try it.  

Gabriella is an illustrative journalist.  That means she draws and is good at it.  Plus, she knows how to investigate and figure things out.  It could be a deadly combination.  

When she returns to her island home, she witnesses a murder and things start to move quickly from there.  Andri is a deputy, but he’s also a friend.  And he’s determined to keep Gabriella safe.  But that possibly means letting her use her skills to help solve the murder and catch the killer before it’s too late?

This read so quickly.  The plot moves along at a fast pace, and I just couldn’t stop reading.  So, yes, this is a one-sitting book.  Meaning I sat down and read the whole thing without stopping.  That also means I stayed up way too late.
