My Thoughts on Until April
I love a good romance. There is just something sweet about them. But I also love a romance that has hardship and overcoming. It can’t be too sappy, or it won’t hold my interest. It has to have hardship or some kind of suspense.
April faces tragedy when her world is shattered when her husband dies, and his secrets are revealed. She’s buried in debt and desperate to save the future for her children. Can she do it?
Enter Michael. He shattered her heart years ago. He’s the last person she expects to step up to help save her and the kids.
Michael regrets how he treated April. It’s one of his only regrets. So he comes up with a plan. It’s risky. It’s shocking. And it just might work. That is, if April agrees to it.
You’ll see love and forgiveness throughout the novel. Redemption is also a main focus.
It’s a second-chance romance story that will leave you at the end feeling like you’ve shut the door on good friends. This book is part of a series. You can read it as a stand-alone novel, but you can also read the entire series for bonus fun! I’m always pro reading more books versus fewer.
God is a central theme in the book, as April is a Christian and takes things to the Lord in prayer before making decisions, while Michael is not a believer.
