I know it’s been a long time since I’ve just done a post about me and the family. So let’s do a bit of catch up!
|This was taken on Monday when we had lunch with Daddy on the school playground where he was working. Kids had a blast and the babies loved this tunnel!|
I had to take Patrick to the dentist on Friday(it’s really hard to find one open on a Friday afternoon) due to a tooth ache. They decided he has an abcess under his tooth and put him on antibiotics. He’s scheduled to go see a pediatric oral surgeon later this month. Poor boy just got over the hospital stay for the inguinal hernia.
Other than that, we’ve not had any major health problems. Until today due to me deciding to get hurt. I decided to slip and fall in the basement and landed hard on my hip and elbow. Skinned up the elbow and have a huge bruise on my hip. My left knee has also gotten very sore. Not sure what I did there. Last year in August I did this to my right knee and ended up with a diagnosis of bone bruise. Probably not the best idea, but I mowed our very large fenced in yard(including big hill) with our push mower tonight. Yeap I’m a glutton for pain, but I love mowing the yard and love the smell even though I’m allergic to grass.
We had homeschool group today which my children love! They are going to be putting on a play this year in May. Peter Pan is what it will be. I have three children who will be in it! And of course, I’m a very proud mommy.
The kids can’t wait to get to go to the zoo again as the aquarium is finally open. This has always been their favorite part and they can spend hours watching the fish swim overhead! Now it’s time to start saving the gas money and planning when we can get away again.
I have a bunch of recipes to add to here and more book reviews. I also can’t wait to get the giveaways started that I’m part of. Anybody have anything they’d like to see in a giveaway?
I just got word that a great company called Bamboobies is willing to sponsor a giveaway! Super excited about that! But, I just got done with a nice hot bath with some Burts Bees muscle relaxing salts and am going to go to bed now. See you all tomorrow!
