About the Author of Escaping the Wilderness
Carrie Stuart Parks is an internationally known forensic artist and law enforcement instructor, working on major criminal cases nationwide. She trains law enforcement professionals such as the FBI, Secret Service, NCIS, Federal Marshals, RCMP, Texas Rangers, and local and regional officers. She was nominated for Law Enforcement Trainer of the Year offered by the Federal Law Enforcement Academy at Glynco, Georgia. Her career highlights also include winning Woman of the Year for the Spirit of the American Woman and being the first Educator of the Year by the Lewis Clark Alumni.

My Thoughts on Escaping the Wilderness
Escaping the Wilderness is a wonderful high-suspense novel with lots of fun twists and turns to keep you guessing! I thoroughly enjoyed it! This is one of those novels that you start reading and then cannot put down. It won’t let you.
Amanda has led a life of ease. She’s had anything she’s ever wanted. Her life has been what everyone dreams of. She’s been sheltered as well from reality. But when her world is turned upside down things take a different path entirely and she’s running for her life while wanted for murder!
Of course, it would not be a Love Inspired Suspense if there wasn’t a love interest!
Enter Boone.
I have to say the opening scene had me laughing. You see, I always say I married my husband for his horse. I met the horse first and fell in love, and then came the man. Let’s just say Amanda meets the horse first, but she doesn’t fall in love.
I’m not going to spoil the novel and tell you everything that happens, but Boone and Amanda have quite the adventure together. Who can they trust? Who can be bought? What are the clues? And will they find a way to survive until the real good guys come along?
